Stats for registered pets here at Petz With a Side of Sim is another unique feature of this forum. Here's a run down - if you have questions or suggestions, please do not hesitate to ask and comment below!
What stats are: Stats are randomly generated when you register a pet with PSOS. There is a scale of 0-255. 0 being of course the weakest in that category and 255 being the best. The basic stats are as follows:
- Speed
- Agility
- Strength
- Intelligence
- Health
Speed will affect how well your pet does in competitions like races and agility.
Agility will affect how well your pet does in agility competitions.
Strength will affect how well your pet does in competitions like races, agility, weight pulling, and how well they would survive if they get ill/injured.
Intelligence will affect how well your pet does in all competitions and shows.
Health will affect the obvious - just as in real life, some pets (and people) are born with varying amounts of immunity.
Can I raise my pet's stats? You sure can! You can raise your pet's stats by random events that happen, by keeping up with boosters and wellness exams at the vet, by training, and buy purchasing items.
Can my pet's stats be lowered too? They sure can be! If you neglect to care for your pet if it gets ill or if it gets an injury and it doesn't recuperate properly, stats can be lowered. Stats can also be lowered through random events.
Where can I see my pet's stats? You can see your pet's stats in the medical records database [here]. If you do not see your pet's name, it is probably because you haven't taken him or her to the vet yet. You should probably go [schedule a wellness exam]!
